As much as we say that blowing our own trombone, trumpet, or any other kind of wind instrument isn’t really our thing, we have certain news that we feel is definitely worth a (breathes deeply) … public announcement.
We’re chuffed to say that we’ve been announced as Oppies Award finalists in the “Best Online Data Collection – Quantitative” category 🏆

Our entry was shortlisted based on the work we did to create a fancy schmancy spinning 3D model called PackSpin. You might remember us going on about it a few months ago. In all fairness, it’s a pretty cool piece of kit.
Our client Ninth Seat wanted to create a more interactive way to test packaging – by creating 3D packaging that would enable people to spin, rotate, zoom in on details… pretty much everything you can do with a physical pack.
Of course, we hadn’t seen anything like it. But at Omnisis, our most popular saying is, “if we can’t do it today, we can build it tomorrow.” (Our second most popular saying is, “Where’s Brian?” But we digress…)
If we had it our way, we would send a team of actors to (potentially) accept the award on our behalf. As it stands, our Head of Marketing, Hannah (also the resident team extrovert, for obvious reasons), is currently trying to wrangle some of our team into an afternoon off work to attend the Awards Do in London in September. If you thought that would be an easy task… then you are wrong!
If she’s successful, you might even see some of us there. In the meantime, if you’d like to learn more about PackSpin before we inevitably go on about it once more in September, here’s a link to our blog and live demo. Cheers.
